The Artist
Johnny Flynn is a London-based singer/songwriter/actor whose poetic influences include Shakespeare and W.P. Yeats. He is the front man for English folk rock band Johnny Flynn & the Sussex Wit, as well as a member of the Propeller Theatre Group in London.
Johnny released his first solo album, A Larum, in 2008, receiving critical acclaim from such major publications as Rolling Stone magazine and the London Times. Signed to major label Lost Highway, he is set to release the full band album, The Sweet William E.P., on November 30th. Johnny has recently completed a solo tour, and he and the Sussex Wit will soon be announcing tour dates for the year 2010.
